You want graphics? Just click a button. That is possible at the moment. Remeber that home in lumb that has been changed? Why people complaning about that? That's rather playerbase do not need. That player base will let OSRS stop from growing. If you believe as OSRS only a"nostaligic" game, the only players who will keep playing would be the old ones, and we're becoming old AF. Anyways, OSRS need to make history, it need new abilities, it need more places to see, it require more monster to slay, that's a fact. But allow RS3 maintain that summoning and dunge history and add a new one for OSRS. Cause both matches now, don't share the exact same background anymore.
I would certainly agree that it's more content and more content. You can do anything to raids for entirely different experiences. I would say the most important thing osrs lacks is as big of a minigame existence. Pre eoc had lots of minigames. If osrs had all of the minigames I am unsure whether they'd actually receive exactly the exact same amount of usage as back then but it is 1 thing I miss about the old days eoc. There was a massive clan scene around minigames too which kept players that are maxed interested in playing. Now on OSRS after maxing there is simply really pet searching, and if you are not interested, there's zero reason to perform.
I can't believe you are an outlier here. Pre EOC RuneScape was very complete with much more content for a whole lot of players, but not only the pvm community. OSRS is better in relation to bossing, but minigame wise, it doesn't hold a candle. Stealing production, and soul wars are just two that are much superior than anything currently and needs to be brought back. Dungeonerring is raids, but BIS with untradeables, and also a lot better reward system. Quest shrewd is was much superior, and images wise far superior. The citadels are hated by people today, but to me it made being in a clan more than just. No one could have requested for OSRS if development of combat never arrived. That reminds me.
It is old school RuneScape. 2007 was the focal point. It's been 2007. We can add more fucking content than simply benefits pick players and enables new people to join and enjoy what we enjoyed growing up. I enjoy playing RuneScape and do intend to get the diary cape sooner or later. But I don't really find it that rewarding to grind directly to that goal anymore. I believe as the OSRS youtube\twitch streams has influenced the way we look at RuneScape along with what exactly we wish to perform inside. When you get to the point where you're at, things take so long to do that it plainly is not worth it for me and I'll do minigames or make laboratory accounts or something.
"Bloat" has been the word I was looking for when comparing contemporary, bloated games into the superior matches of yesteryear. Thank you for that. OSRS is the ideal example of getting back to strong basics, together with the addition of modern conveniences as you mentioned and cutting off bloat. Publish OSRS and bring classic. PVP is straightforward, you fight, three strikes guaranteed, no eating, no running, no teleporting. No more complaints regarding safing or running. Duel everywhere! Is now the duel arena, for visiting some shack in the desert no more demand. Everyone's an Ironman! It just takes sooooo fucking that you are better off doing it yourself, not because you can't trade. After the time of attempting to stop the gold multipler you'll understand.
